Jul 04, 2006 · i had used Zone-Alarm with my internet conection with no problems. 1 day, after i opened my computer and connected to the internet, i saw that my browser keeps giving me the message "The page cannot be displayed". i called my isp and they told me it is becouse of my firewall. and indeed, after i shuted down Zone-Alarm, everything was ok, my browser did find pages again

Try moving the Network firewall to Off then see if your browser has access to the Internet. If you are able to access the Internet with ZoneAlarm off, then the problem is with your ZoneAlarm settings and you should probably do a clean install (to remove any incorrect settings).
Greetings, Why is the 'Spooler Subsystem' constantly trying to access the Internet in Vista? Zone alarm stops it, but why is it even trying? I have no printer installed, and nothing waiting to print.
Usually what prevents internet access in Zone Alarm is the internet lock it has, where nothing comes in or goes out, but also did the program recognize the OOL network? For a LAN it usually says I'm using Windows 2KPro with free Zone Alarm (version 7.0.470.000). When I got up this morning I had no internet access, and now it only works if I disable Zone Alarm. On my Win2K machine, when MS update KB951748 was installed, ZoneAlarm blocked internet access. You can resolve this by reducing the Internet Zone security level to Medium in Zone Alarm, or by removing the update.
