From the UF Health/Shands VPN section, choose and download the appropriate client link that matches your computer’s operating system. Type in vpn.ufl.edu. Then choose connect. You will be prompted for your gatorlink ID and Password. Enter your credentials and clicked OK. It will take a few moments, (depending on your internet connection) to connect to UF VPN. There should be a Cisco AnyConnect icon with a lock on it in the system tray indicating you have an active VPN connection.

The UF VPN Client allows UF students, faculty and staff to “tunnel” into the UF network from any off-campus network, and access these Download and install the files in the order shown. Windows will ask if you want to run or save the files; choose Run (see below).

Off-Campus Access

Wait for the VPN to Authenticate to the server. Step 10: Confirmation of the VPN client will be indicated under Settings if the VPN is “ON” as well as by an active VPN icon, located next to the WiFi icon.
